By becoming a trainer with Stand Up For Change™, you will have the opportunity to help empower diverse and enthusiastic participants in the foundations of public speaking — including body language, stage presence, storytelling, navigating hecklers, timing/delivery, and more. This innovative program is designed to leverage the incredible skills you’ve developed onstage by training changemakers from a variety of industries in a fun, impactful, and supportive way.

KEY DETAILS:

  • This is a paid opportunity (hourly guarantee) with flexible daytime scheduling;

  • Participants may select either 1-1 sessions or small group workshops;

  • Participants may select single-day intensives (3-hour sessions) or a 4-week program (1-hour sessions each week) depending on their schedule, budget, and needs;

  • Trainings are offered remotely (via Zoom) with some opportunities in-person in LA and NYC as the program launches;

  • Participants and trainers will be thoughtfully matched with each other (based on issues/interests, schedules, location and other relevant demographic data for maximum impact;

  • If you’ve been invited to become a trainer, you will go through a short, virtual onboarding session to learn the Stand Up For Change™ curriculum and review/agree to the official Code of Conduct;

  • SUFC staff will provide you with relevant background on your participants, join you for your kick-off, and provide support for all trainings.
